We know mobility can make or break a business. But it’s not just the business sector that’s taking mobility seriously. According to the latest research, people are turning to their mobile device more than ever for career advancement. The crowded, competitive landscape of today is forcing applicants to act faster and more efficiently to tap opportunities on the go.

As part of a recent survey in the United States, Pew Research has found that 34% of job seekers say the information they found online was the most important resource available to them in their job hunting. Personal and professional networks fell behind (20%) as the second most important job resource. A total of 45% of recent job seekers indicate that personal or professional contacts of any kind – both online and offline – were the most important resource they tapped in their last search for employment. How Millennials & Generation Z Are Looking For Jobs Today [Infographic]

Around a third of the young US demographic feels let down by the education system, accusing their alma maters of failing to teach them applicable, real life business skills. A report by HR firm Adecco breaks down the data gathered from 1,001 students looking at the difference in thinking between Generation Y (born 1980-2000) and Generation Z (born after 2000).

App Testing Is Fun

The Apps Team is growing! We are on the look-out for talented software developers with a passion for research and automation testing to join our team in Bucharest.

On many occasions, developing such a product turns out to be more creative than developing the software that has to be tested.

To that effect, I want to make it clear that, when you become a 4PSA Clouder, nothing can stop you from becoming the next rock star in software.

The Early Years

When I started writing code for a living, everything seemed freakishly complex. Why? Because there was no one around to guide me through the rough terrain of learning different APIs at once, to point out the mistakes in my design, and offer advice on how to code better and faster.

Behind the Walls – 4PSA Teams

In a previous article, we promised you a better insight on how we are organized internally, namely the product-oriented teams we built. So, let’s start to review the teams 🙂

Stack

This software engineering team is handling the low-level aspects of our software engineering, i.e. most of the stuff other teams need in order to develop their products. Because we are lazy, we like to keep things standardized. 😀 This means that all frameworks (with one exception) are developed at this level.

Cool Summer 2012 Internship Problem Set 7

We’re closing this race with a set of problems that rely heavily on context.

The Cool Summer Internship Race has been a driver of great attitude, since most of what we published left room for creativity, in every sense.  What is more important though is that it turned into a driver of entailing actions.

What are we going to do next:  we want to offer those who would like to become interns at 4PSA the chance to know us in a competition.
