Today, we had a special guest in our office. Spring Race III winner, Laur Neagu dropped by to pick up his $2000 award and tell us more about the mechanism behind his app. For those who are new to this, the challenge was to build an app that would automatically classify pictures according to a series of criteria.

Laur gave us a short presentation of his app and answered questions from the team. And among a lot of interesting stuff, we found out that he coded for 3 white nights and tested the app on hundreds of pictures. We also learned that he worked so hard on the functionality of the app that he didn’t think of a name for it. All he wanted was to make it work. And it did. Congrats! 🙂
