Introducing The VoipNow Team

VoipNow, 4PSA’s best known product (yet), has been designed with the goal to make people communicate faster, more efficiently, and at a lower cost, while enabling them to become more mobile.
Today’s post is about the team behind it.

TouchMeNow, The UC Revolution

Ever since our release of the world’s first UC software in 2006, all service providers have been asking for a way to turn communication into a more personal experience. After 2 years of intense development, we are finally ready to make the big announcement.

The entire 4PSA team proudly announces the release of TouchMeNow, a revolutionary solution that bundles software and hardware to deliver a previously unimaginable communication experience. Making use of haptic technology, TouchMeNow incorporates an unexpected, but highly desired element to Unified Communications: touch.

Behind the Walls – 4PSA Teams

In a previous article, we promised you a better insight on how we are organized internally, namely the product-oriented teams we built. So, let’s start to review the teams 🙂

Stack

This software engineering team is handling the low-level aspects of our software engineering, i.e. most of the stuff other teams need in order to develop their products. Because we are lazy, we like to keep things standardized. 😀 This means that all frameworks (with one exception) are developed at this level.

Our Planet – You Have To See This

I’ve read a lot of articles lately debating climate change and the reasons it happens now, in such a visible manner. Everyone seems to have a strong opinion on the matter. Conspiracy theories everywhere you look :).

Environmental activists say it’s the overuse of fossil fuel, dumb consumption and big worldwide consortia that fight against the adoption of clean energy only because they are greedy.

Fly in the Cloud with 4PSA at HostingCon

We keep bringing you closer to the Cloud. This time, we’ve given up on servers, wires and services and went for a more entertaining approach.

If you’re stopping by at HostingCon 2011 in San Diego this month, be sure to enter the contest held by Parallels together with their APS Partners! 4PSA puts up two prizes for Tuesday and Wednesday: AR.Drone quadricopter & 90-day VoipNow Cloud Instance!

We all know what a VoipNow Cloud Instance is. But what’s an AR.Drone?

Not so long ago, we celebrated 5 years of VoipNow. We appreciate the feedback we received from our customers and partners, whether it was by email, phone or on social networks. We do build Unified Communications solutions after all, so we greatly value having such diverse means of communication. However, in some cases, it’s important to provide a central, accessible resource where all documentation and feedback can be gathered.

Introducing 4PSA Support Zone

Next week 4PSA will be introducing a new online presence, as well as redesigned back-end systems. One of the most important systems that has been completely renewed is the one used to provide technical support to our customers. The new facility, called Support Zone, is the result of an important development effort primarily focused on improving the satisfaction of our customers.

OpenID, the Quick and Easy Way to Log In

Along with Internet development, some of the traditional actions have been implemented into the virtual space. Nowadays, we do not use paper and pen to send a letter, we email messages; we do not socialize only face to face, we also use Facebook, Twitter or Hi5. We have now access to an extremely fast method of sharing information. For all these technologies we have unique accounts that enable others to recognize our identity. Many accounts mean a lot of user names and passwords that we need to remember in our every day virtual world.

It’s that time of the year again. Everybody is trying to finish the projects started along the year or at least bring them close to the end. Meetings, forecasting, budgeting, strategy revision and of course planing. Some people want to try new things, to get new ideas that will eventually improve their business revenue. Others simply want to cut costs and improve efficiency inside their companies.
